What is a Sunnah?
A Sunnah is a teaching, action, or approval of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Embracing the Sunnah is a sign of love and obedience to the Prophet, and a path to Allah’s pleasure.
“Whoever revives a Sunnah from my Sunnah and the people act upon it, he will have the reward like that of those who act upon it…”

1. Smiling as an Act of Charity

Reality: Smiling at others is an act of charity and a way to spread positivity.

Reality: Making du'a for someone without them knowing brings angels to pray for you in return.

Reality: Eating together increases barakah (blessing) and fosters love.
“Eat together and do not eat separately, for the blessing is in being together.”

Misunderstood as: Old-fashioned or unnecessary among family.
Reality: Even the Prophet ﷺ sought permission before entering homes—teaching respect for privacy.
“Do not enter houses other than your own houses until you ascertain welcome and greet their inhabitants.”
(Qur’an 24:27)
