Opulent Red is very red and quite opulent. It opens extremely fruity, with reddish notes of ripe peach, red fruits and blood orange. Fresh cardamom is also noticeable. The beginning is fairly bold, appealing to strong emotions. Then a white floral ambience becomes gradually prominent. The aroma turns to a different kind of sweetness, less fruity and sensual, with nuances of almond and orange blossom, suggesting notes of jasmine, heliotrope and perhaps tuberose. A specific woody oak barrel facet suggests a few drops of cognac or rum, but without the noticeable booziness found in some fragrances.
