Step 1: The Yellow Series

The goal at this stage is not to understand the meaning of the term. However, the focus was on accurately decoding each letter from right to left. First, pronounce each letter's name, followed by its phonetic sound.
The Yellow Series is the first level in developing his/her phonemic awareness and identifying the Arabic letter names in words. This is a critical step before your youngster begins reading with vowels and other sound marks. The Pink Series is your child's next stage in learning to read Arabic.

They are intended to be used after knowing the Arabic alphabet. Assisted in decoding letters in cursive without the distraction of Arabic markings/diacritics above or below the letter.
The goal of this practice is to help them improve their decoding skills and master this crucial ability and facet of future reading. Learning the isolated forms of the Arabic script is insufficient for becoming a proficient reader.
